Would anyone have any objection to me setting up a KUJU rail simulator Forum because I am thinking of doing so.

Why?

We already have a Kuju forum.

I doubt very much UKTS will die, I wont stop using it, and I doubt that all the 6500+ forum members will!

Id get in contact with Kuju first if you plan on setting up a forum if I were you.

Four new sims and it's the end?!

Have I entered a parallel universe? :)

Yep, lets have another forum I don't visit.

I'll save even more time then :)

Did I miss something, or does UKTS really stand for UKMicrosoftTrainSim?

I thought it stood for UKTrainSim....a UK site for train simulation.

Sean, didn't you spot how much we're supporting KRS and TMTS? That's because they're supporting us too - there is every hope and intention that UKTS will become as much of a valuable resource for those sims as it has for MSTS. We are absolutely NOT tied to MSTS, it's not our fault if developers for other sims don't want to upload their work here!

For the life of me, I cannot see any downside for this site and forum having 2, 3 or more sims to discuss. It can only make UKTS 2 or 3 times more addictive.

Actually, there is one. I may have to take up my wife's repeated offer and actually move into the spare room!

(At least I no longer wake up at night, wondering what Kuju was doing with all that code they had to refrigerate a couple of years ago.)
:)

MSTS will never die, it's the original, and in many case's you can't beat the original, like in films, they remake a 10yr old film with new charactors and special effects, but at the end of the day you can't beat the original :D

MSTS will keep on going, wether people will continue too buy it after all these new ones are produced is questionable, but it is up to us Train Simmers too keep it going... & too produce new add-on's too keep people interested. :D
