I would like to say that being a member for a few years now, I have no complaints as regards the site. It is about time people realized that this a good site and stop moaning. I have down loaded lots of engines, activities etc and have had a lot of answers to help me over the years. So appreciate the site and be grateful for the site.

Hear hear.

If it were to close tomorrow, which is highly unlikely or I was banned, more likely :), I would not bother with another forum. I don't now and never have done so.

Too lazy for a start :)

If UKTRAIN SIM were to close I would be devastated. I think the amount of locos, wagons etc.... is great and if it were to close, we would have nothing new for our MSTS......so please everyone stop moaning as we have a great site hear and if it were to close I don't think we would be happy about it :D

Didn't know anyone was moaning about the site?

Ignorance is bliss, I'm happy :)

Roll credits.

Cue theme music.

UKTS hasn't got a theme tune.

Hmmm ....

Any ideas?

I've thought of a motto.

"Non . Suum Januum" :P

I'll look for this thread latr in the Open Forum :)

Interesting point. It would also be interetsing to add up of the person hours spent on all the stock and routes and add-ons that are currently available on this site. I bet it would add up to decade if not hundreds of years of work.

PS Your Link says

"We're sorry, but we can't supply the file you requested.
In order for us to continue to provide our members with the first-class service they expect, we don't allow people to link files from sites hosted with other providers. "

Then there's browsing the forums and posting.

For some that could be 2 hours per day, 700 hours per years, 2000 hours in three years.

Hey! Let's shut the forums and build stuff :)

I've never counted downloads or how long anything took.

Wouldn't have done it if I felt the need.

That's 'Tubular Bells', by Mike Oldfield,
Connection to UKTS??
Well, 'tubular' could have connotations to boiler tubes, Bell to 'Belle' (as in Southern and Brighton), oh, and yes, that was the first record to be released on Mr Bransons 'Virgin' label... so there's another train connection
So on the whole, a good choice

Do I sense a potential fellow Oldfield fan here? :)

There is also an Oldfield album called 'Voyager' :)

I've already posted about UKTS several times, so I'll stick to being off-topic for this one!

Cheers
