Very slow site again

Post by saddletank »

Matt, the whole site was painfully slow loading this morning at 11:00. Other sites were quick, managed to d/l tons of stuff from T-S.com in 10 minutes, while waiting for 3 or 4 pages of UKTS to load up. Please would you investigate. Thanks.

I always just press the refresh button...which brings up the re-entry box....saves getting logged out....Says 12.55 on mine now....and a new file has appeared....so somesones been fiddling.

Edit
I should have added that the site has got slower since the file pictures reappeared, along with the banner adverts and parasite detector.
But I personally dont find it that slow....well not compared with say Ebay.

Certainly slower than yesterday (Friday).

Also, when clicking on one of the pictures on the home page, my system throws up the 'Internet Explorer error' message, from which I could only close the program down. But since I re-booted my PC, all seems well now, apart from the speed.

At least, when everything slows down, we know where Matt ISN'T !!

Paul.........

You can't always get what you want, Camilla !!

Beg to differ, Charles, I've been seeing Andrew for the last 10 years !!!!

server went mad again today and was not able to be fixed over the mobile, brother in law went on and did the deed for me to get it all working again. i know what i can do to make this more detectable and able to be fixed now so will prioritize that, will also see if i can work out what keeps causing PHP to keep crashing. sorry about that folks, i did thoroughly test the server before we left too, murphy's law! i know i am logged in as dad too by the way, forums over this mobile take long enough without having to spend ten minutes trying to log in heh heh talk to you all more when i get back.
