Atomic Photo Album uploading problems

Post by trains2 »

Hi,

im trying to upload some pics into my album but when they uploaded they the pictures are not displayed but all other info is. It also says the file is not valid which im guessing means its not compatible. It is a JPG image which i presume means JPEG which is what it needs but it doesn't seem to like it. Im using a program called ACDSee to view my photos so is there a problem with that???

Hi

Ope up the photos in something like paint or Paint shop pro. Then 'save as', and hopefully there will be a drop down box or similar enabling you to save in different file formats, and the one you want will be JPEG. Also make sure there are no gaps in the name, as it will make life easier when trying to show in forums (should you decide to do that)

Would help if you can provide information about the pictures on your album such as their file name and then I can look at them and take a look.

Matt,

here is the filename of one of the pictures:

C:\My Documents\My Photos\JPEG.images\SunnySouthSpecial'34045TawValley'atWinchester.JPG

Give me a shout if u need anymore.

I find it strange how i cannot view them in the album but when i link them to a page they display as normal.

Cheers

Might well be the quotes. Don't use anything other than standard letters and numbers and you will probably find yourself much better off.

Bingo.

Cheers Matt. I have renamed the files to much simpler names and they are on there now.

Thanks a lot!
