Someone reply to this thread... It just dawned on me what the code is actually doing so I've made some tweaks.

Ta, ok, it seems now to be putting the right address in the "To" field.

Let me know if this is true for you guys, and also if it's helped the spam situation.

Matt:

I am still not getting notifications. I have requested a filter change at my ISP, which I believe they have made, and this has made no difference.

Can they confirm if the mails are being handled by their mail server at least? I'm really not sure what to recommend, I know they are being sent. Find out if they can switch that monitoring on (if it isn't already) and I will be happy to supply then with exact time/date information for messages leaving here and which servers they wound up on in their network so they can find them in their logs and work out what's happened.

Either that or simply set your notifications up to go to your uktrainsim.com address and add the pop.uktrainsim.com account to your email program and collect the notifications that way.

I have tried to get more information from them but ............

Can you please detail how I setup my UKTS e-mail to be able to collect e-mails from it and not have it forwarded (or is this explained somewhere)?

First go to 'change my info' on the bottom left of the front page.

Set your PUBLIC email address to be 'dforrest@uktrainsim.com'

The delivery method is either "forward to private address" (which won't help you I dare say), or "send to atmail" - which is what you want.

Now that's set up any mail going to dforrest@uktrainsim.com will end up on Atomic Mail.

There are two ways to read that mail - either via the web interface:

http://atmail.atomic-systems.com

(note: if you have any new messages the 'free email' button on the front changes to 'new email!' and in either case clicking on it will take you to Atomic Mail's web interface).

Or alternatively you can use POP3 in your email client, use 'pop.uktrainsim.com' as the hostname and your normal UKTS username and password.

Hope this helps

I've requested my ISP not to block any e-mails from support@atomic-systems.com, however I bet it is beyond them and I still have to unblock each thread separately.

I disabled email notifications some time ago as I read almost everything in here anyway; however, if it will help in diagnosing, I'll restart on a couple of topics and see what happens.
