Lemberg here, I downloaded an activity for brilliant Cannock chase only to discover that it is for version 3, no mention of any upgrades but notice from the map that it is on cd. whats going on, I don't mind making a contribution but some prior information would help or are we all going down the route(forgive the pun) of money making schemes.

The CDs do not make money. They cover the cost of a CD, jewel case, printed lable, printed inlay, postage, VAT - oh and a months premium membership into the bargain.

I take your point but if you get a months free premium membership what's the point of puting yor money up front by paying for premium if when you go to the file library quite a few files are for routes that are only availiable on disc. perhaps there should be to route download librarys, one showing cd's and there patchs and another showing actual routes availiable for download.

Well, the theory is when you buy a route, you get a month's premium access to download extra stock and activities for it!
You do have a point though, that perhaps activities for routes that are not available for download are marked as such.

The idea is to buy the CD first, then download activities for it. The latter are useless without the former and no-one, premium subscriber or otherwise would be daft enough to d/l activities for a route they don't have.
Would they?
As it currently stands I see no flaw in either the system or the logic.
