atomic albums still unavailable

Post by asalmon »

I can't get at atomic albums still, is the DNS being really slow or is something else wrong

NSLookup yields the following.

Code: Select all

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: album.atomic-systems.com
Address: 128.242.246.222

Hi Alan,

I tried to enter the complete address INCLUDING "cut here + the rest" but once I'd done that I clicked on it and was taken to my personal album. I've left the link without the cut here + the rest info.

Cheers,

Alan.

nope, I get
Please accept our apologies for this pause in service.

The system has now been migrated to its new servers, this migration took place on Saturday 7th February 2004.

If you are seeing this, then your system is receiving out of date information about the location of the servers. Within 24 hours of the move this is very possibly the case, beyond 24 hours and something else may be wrong - in this instance, please email me, matt@uktrainsim.com, as soon as possible.

The first you should do to try and fix the problem is to reboot your computer, flush your temporary internet files and then type the URL in again.
and I've tried rebooting all my pcs and flushing caches etc.

Thats why I asked you what IP address you got for album.atomic-systems.com - cos I expect its different to mine

t-online.de has now found it. That makes a nice change, I am usually the last the get back in when Matt moves servers around :)

atomic-systems.com is taking an age for the other isp's to refresh, typical really. Still, it'll get updated soon... I'll try and get http://www.atomic-album.co.uk working in the meantime.
