I just wondered if it was against the forum rules to post a link to another forum.

No I don't see a problem there, many people post other-fora links, most commonly to T-S.com. However make sure your link works first and that it is on-topic - no links to porn, flash games or other wacky stuff on the Train forums please!

No links to Porn etc. on the forums at all.

Links to chat rooms, non- train forums, Flash games and Funny stuff Are to be posted to the Open Forums only

Links To Train related stuff etc should be kept to train forums please likewise. ( avoid some of train sim stuff in open forum.

)

Open forum is the place for any Non-train Sim stuff.

We all enjoy a good laugh, and that's the place for it.

Echoing the above sentiments, i'm perfectly happy for people to include links to other forums as long as they don't spam - i.e. a one liner in your sig is ok, a post in a relevant forum is ok, but spamming a bunch of forums is no more ok for advertising than it would be for any other purpose
