Take it from my experience. IKB considers himself untouchable. He does and says what he wants, and then gets others to stick up for him if anyone complains. He's a hypocrit and only nice to his personal friends (the ones who stick up for him).
leave him be, we get on quite nicely with his lack of participation on this forum. He said it so himself.
And this is not provocation for him to launch an attack at me. retaliation will only show how hypocritical you really are.

He says and does what he thinks and doesn't fanny about ....
He often says what others darn't say ....
He's been doing it for 2 years now with friend and foe alike ....
He's not a whinger, sicophant or patronising and always asking for more, doesn't pretend to be a women and generally bore the bum of others with persistant prattling about nothing ....
If he did I'd be the first to complain ....
The initial request about the sig was valid and I said nothing ....
Now the behaviour is worse than IKB's and why is this thread still here?
Other members that have released freeware routes know the banter and arn't complaining and commercial one's must be able to take criticism ....

I agree with you and the traits you list are those I like to see from people posting in theses forums.johndibben wrote:He says and does what he thinks and doesn't fanny about ....

However, to use a banner of a width which hinders the use of the forum, is the opposite of this free thaught and I am surprised that one person can take both positions.

The answer is simple .... it doesn't annoy me ....dforrest wrote:However, to use a banner of a width which hinders the use of the forum, is the opposite of this free thaught and I am surprised that one person can take both positions.

It's a matter for those who it does annoy and the management of the site .... It also begs the question as to why we can place avatar's and sigs the size of football pitches if we're not supposed to?
I only got involved when it got very personal (I've even defended Steve against personal attacks) ....
Having said that, a website is a very complex web of relationships between people. The only way to avoid any instances of appearing to hold different views is to either say nothing or risk offending everyone eventually. We all make mistakes and therefore we'd have to point them all out, never point any out or be called a hypocrit ....
Hypocrisy is an easy thing to prove and a hard thing to deny ....

OK! For crying out loud what are you guys still complaining for?!
Haven't you noticed that IKB DOESN'T GIVE A .!!
For christ's sake ~_~ People thought I was annoing but now they just accept me
SO GET WITH IT! It's getting annoying seeing this thread up on the top of the list everyday because it's about a nice guy and how you're irritated at him for no apparent logical reason!
I need a beer
Root beer that is

The banner stays, unless of course the management of this site say otherwise.
It is not offensive,or provocative. It is my personal advertisement for a Railway Simulator that i enjoy, support and am at present having great fun beta testing.
Some of the comments made in this thread about me are below contempt. If you cannot take a joke or spot a wind up,then i seriously suggest that some of you need to get out into the world and broaden your horizons.
Life`s a beach and then you drown.

Re: isambardkingdombrunel's Banner
I initally asked if isambardkingdombrunel could reduce the width of his banner. I realise now that he cannot because it is not his banner but is part of the www.auran.com web site.dforrest wrote: isambardkingdombrunel could you please reduce the width of your signature banner by about an inch?
