For Heavens Sake! Listen to yourselves! Are you all so disabled that you can't move a mouse to scroll a page a couple of inches? It's not as if your having to get out your chair or anything! Heaven help you if you actually had to turn your heads to see the other side of the page too!

Cheers,
Stewart.

Gary ....

I honestly always thought the sig thing was 'tounge-in-cheek' until recently. Probably because it hardly bothers me personally.

I'm often friends with both sides in an argument and so I only put it into perpective ....

I honestly think it's a shame if people have fallen out about this issue but things like this normally go deeper with some than others and old grievances creep in.

Internet forum life, it'll never change and not worth taking too seriously or you don't enjoy it ....

It appears someone is always in trouble on this forum and I bet Steve's relieved it's not him for once  :)

Stewart, I invite you to close your browser down to 500 pixels wide for a week and read the longer posts in these forums. Apart from making them difficult to scan properly as text whizzes back and forewards, there's the RSI to take into account.

Not all of us are lucky enough to own wide or high res monitors.

In addition to which there are recognised internet protocols and netiquette that people should obey when they use the web. If they don't and their disobedience of said netiquette continues, they are just being rude, selfish and ignorant. They are probably attention seekers with no other way of getting the fish to bite.

Come on. IKB often appears with his lairy head on, and we just ignore it or let the newbies rise to it.
Just send him a pm saying "Wow, what a wicked signature, can you make it twice the size so i can read it easier" and see what reaction you get then

I can only post here to say, It really does not bother me too much.

It only makes it difficult to read posts correctly. as I quickly scan the page, picking out keywords. only if I see certain keywords do I reply.

also the topic header of a thread draws my attention.... I care not about sig content if I want to read the thread.

My honest oppinion. ^

and mike, you can post now you know. ;)

LOL! How do you work that one out then Mike? If you mean me, come out and say it, but you can't really because my complaining about the size has been consistent throughout my UKTS life.

Anyway, you didn't need to remove it entirely, just narrow it down a bit, but thanks for doing that for us anyway.
