Re: This page is unsafe
I use Microsoft Essentials on some computers and Avast on others and there have never been any warnings for UKTS.

Tried again today and the main page seems ok but the forum page still has the same problem.

Thanks for the screenshots Ken, the Site Owner is again in contact with Norton and Symantec.

Re: This page is unsafe
Thanks Alec I have forwarded your email to the Site Owner.
What is bizarre with your "Detailed Report" is that it is File 27665 causing the issue. That file was "Deleted" from the file library on Friday 3rd July 2015 and a "Search" for the file yields "No Results".

Re: This page is unsafe
It would appear Norton have been busy updating there own product over the last few days as i have just had to reconnect my virus protections. Why did they have to do this when i was doing a full system scam.?
Probably have to do it all over again now.

Re: This page is unsafe
I have just accessed UKTS with no Unsafe message from Norton. It would appear that you have sorted this most unfortunate event. Thank you.

Re: This page is unsafe
echo the previous post, no problems when going to the site. Thanks again for sorting it
(for how long though! My Norton's coming up for renewal in a few days, might think again1)

IMHO too and many a tech I know.NeutronIC wrote:The fundamental problems here are
a) Norton is trash, imho, it's worse than actually having a virus on your machine in many cases. Strictly IMHO.
b) Norton is almost always the first to false report on ClickTeam installers (which this file is) - though they aren't on their own in that, I have no idea why, but ClickTeam continually gets false-detected as having something wrong with it by some anti viral programs.
I have tested the file in question on an independant online scanner that runs the file up against 44 anti virus / trojan packages and Norton is the only one that reports the failure.
I've now re-requested that Norton once again re-evaluate the site and fix the problem rather than being stupid about it.
Grr. I hate Norton. So much.

An observation: if we made unsubstantiated comments like that about TS2015 we'd quite rightly be immediately jumped on by the mods.Trev123 wrote:IMHO too and many a tech I know.NeutronIC wrote:The fundamental problems here are

Re: This page is unsafe
Well the Site Owner is entitled to his own views and they were clearly labelled as such. I have discussed this issue with him several times over the years and I concur with his assessment. I wouldn't let Norton within a mile of any of the PCs I have to maintain at home and for friends.lenfish wrote:An observation: if we made unsubstantiated comments like that about TS2015 we'd quite rightly be immediately jumped on by the mods.
