Total post number not increasing.

Post by 37714 »

While this problem isn't really important, i'm worried that in the future i may not be able to find a post that i've made in the past.

My total number of posts doesn't seem to want to increase past 699, and has been hovering around 600 for months and months.

I have made far more than 600 posts since 2001, I'm curious as to where they are going! :).
Cheers,

It's vaguely possible that auto pruning is removing topics after they have been inactive for a certain amount of time. I thought we had that disabled on the UKTS forums, but Matt recently upgraded (well, recently, about 6 months ago) the forum software so it may have blown those settings away...

Hopefully he'll catch on to this thread and answer it :)

Yes, I am at 2079, yet I passed the 2000 mark months ago - so should have more than that!

Still, as the post count has been removed from everywhere, I guess it makes no odds!

It's quite possible that it's just this crud forum system frankly :)

I've not got auto pruning switched on any of the forums at all so if it's auto pruning, it's without my wishes.

You'll be happy to know that I'm working on a complete custom replacement for these bloody forums so that I can get it under control finally.

Matt.
