yes Jon, I can confirm theres something odd about those files. My winzip will not open them. Just gives a error message.
However, funny as it seems, Winrar will unpack them. I have not installed them. not my sort loco. But when unpacked there is a exe file and a readme.
Hopefully this helps. Admin may have a better idea whats going on.

EDIT: Oh and 7-zip will unpack it http://www.7-zip.org/

yes I can confirm that has the same problem.
7-zip is the way to go.
As these zip files date back to jun 2012, I can only assume that they used a older version of winzip. And later versions are not liking them.

Firstly these files are NOT CORRUPT.

The newer versions of WinZip appear to not like decompressing ZIP files created by other compression applications such as JZip and 7Zip.

As stated above WinRar has no problem decompressing anything.

Hi

I'll try Route Riter ... I haven't got Winrar.
I only mentioned it as the other (Class 76 ) files by Dark Angel all unpack OK with Winzip.

Cheers
Jon

I always unzip with Winrar. It's free and does the job well.

Hi John, I use 7-Zip Portable which is available free from the PortableApps.com site.
I saved the download and clicked on the installer and sent the files to my "MY Documents" folder and when I want to open
any problem Zip file, I open up the Folder and click on right icon to get into the tool and select where I have the problem file
is stored and extract to where you need it to go from the options.
You can then extract any similar files and when you have finished, just close everything down and go to where the files are
stored and see if anything is needed to run the loco's like Sounds and Cabviews.
