Topic Reply emails not received since 19th July

It might be just me but I have checked my settings and they seem to be in order.
I have not received a "topic reply" alert since 19th July and wondered if there was a problem. Is anyone else getting forum email alerts since 19th July?
Not a big problem but if others are receiving alerts it must be my account (and I will raise a support request). If others are experiencing the same thing then I will raise it as a more general issue.
The admins might already be aware given that "System Test" on the UKTS home page is reporting there is an issue.
Thanks
Jim

They appear to be coming through okay for me Jim, although I think I noticed a couple of replies in the forums over the last few days when I didn't get an email notification.

Umm very strange. I didn't get an alert about this one either.
Not to worry. I am sure I will manage without them

I seem to be getting 'topic reply' emails after I've visited topics which have had replies to them!
Example being, when I've left the 'Site Admin Queries' section and go off to do my usual rounds on the forum, generally 5 - 15 minutes later I'll get an email saying a new topic has been created in Site Admin Queries. When I click the link, it'll bring me back here.
I do remember some time back, reading that there was some kind of glitch in the software and quite a lot of people weren't getting topic reply emails. I don't however, remember seeing anything about the glitch being found and fixed. Probably because I haven't read that thread, to receive the email!
Not receiving the emails doesn't really bother me though.

If an Admin checks the error logs in the admin console they should be able to see what is causing the problem, if there is one. The email system isn't the most reliable part of phpBB. I tend to switch the forums I administrate to using a third party email system like Gmail to send the mails rather than the built in facility, as it much more reliable and less likely to get blacklisted if the server the forum is hosted on hasn't been setup properly.

Thanks Jon,
Being a techy person myself that error would certainly seem to have the ability to prevent emails from being sent. I would have thought it would affect a lot more people than just me though.
