I've noticed whilst browsing this morning that the list of moderators seems a little smaller than of late.
Am I right in thinking that some of our moderators have thrown in the towel?

There have been a few changes in the team recently due to other interests taking priority, pressure of work and other reasons.

Gav
I handed in my mod status after 8 years, basically because of heart problems, and a total loss of intrest in trains.
Gradually getting over both.

Hi Glyn
Sorry to hear of your poor health .... wish you a speedy recovery.

1. I have a very intensive international career (I see from my frequent flyer statement that I have made 45 international flights so far this year) plus a family, plus other hobbies. Something had to give.
2.
http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 4&t=125685 has all the evidence one needs to demonstrate why I have entirely wearied of the trolls and naysayers who say stuff just to look clever. I simply have no heart in trying to battle that kind of behaviour any more. After seven years as a mod, opinionated smart alecs get to you.

As an ALEC I can at least deny being "smart", based on my wife's comments on my fashion sense! However I will admit to having opinions!
On a more serious note I believe that ALL moderators do a very good job under what at times can be trying conditions, and for that I am grateful.
Thank you, Alec
