Can´t link to pictures

Hello! I was going to show some railway photos on the forum today for the first time. I have uploaded them to another site, and then linked to them in my post. When i press preview, I could see the pictures. But when I submited the thread, a got a mail from the moderators that my topic was disapproved becuse the photos was not showing. I tried again, but got the same answear. And I CAN se the pictures when I press preview. Help please!

This links to the log-in page of the Svenska 3D-Tåg Forum, not to an image file.

If you right-click on one of the images you wish to show here, copy its address and post it inside image tags, we should see it, e.g....

{img}http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/8590 ... 2.jpg{/img}

I've used { } brackets instead of [ ] in the link so you can see how to do it.

If I change them to [ ] , this is a linked image taken from the Svenska 3D-Tåg Forum...



... but it's not on the forum server, it's hosted at imageshack!

If you have imageshack, fotopic or similar sort of account or web site, it would be best to link directly to the images there, rather than to the forum.

I see, the site I uploaded the photos to requires a login to see the pictures. Thats why it takes you to the login page. I can se the photo in this thread becuse I am loged in at Svenska 3D-tåg. I will try with imageShack instead.

but changing your link to a direct link...

and clicking on it takes you to the imageshack page with the photo,

while this ...

...if you replace the { at the beginning with a [

...embeds the image in a forum post...
