Yes Geoff, I will get round to the cobbles... jsut keep reminding me :P

I hope to get a better texture which should be darker and not look like an ever repeating square... well ok not quite as much.

<IMG width="646" height="524" SRC="http://www.atomic-album.com/showPic.php ... ctions.JPG">

This latest image shows todays work.

The junctions are custom built for each gap in the trac, Traction poles are still to be added to the junctions.

The buildings that can be seen are by Paul Spicer and Terry Thornton, I may need to replace them with a custom object to reduce the number of objects on the tile.

Im currently playing with 1343 which is getting close to the supposed limit.

Hey Niall,

Looking great. This has certainly come on leaps and bounds since your last captures session. Nice bit of green at the front there, perhaps for a park area and bandstand!!

Keep going, this is looking good.

Cheers, Chris

You have excelled yourself Niall, it is looking more like a street tramway now. :D :D :D
I have got a file of a Gazebo/Bandstand if you want me to send it to you, as Chris, has said, a Bandstand area with some flower beds and trees, would look good in this area. :D
If you want the file, let me know?

Great idea Smudge and Geoff

The Bandstand would be great

Im gonig to have to really start getting stuff into single objects though.

I think i have a good enough shot of the one on Magdelan Green in Dundee and the small one at the Perth road garden to create my own one as part of a section if needed.

Definatley fitting for whatshould work out to be the posher end of the city center.

I'll send you the Bandstand anyway Niall, it may come in for something else at a later date.

Having problems with GMAX anyway so the Bandstand is in use since my Town Green object refusees to compile once ive got much more than a base and 3 sides of fencing on it.

I now need a Pillar Box but can't find one on UKTS.

Im convinced Ian Morgan did one to go with his K4 Phone Box and Police Tardis (which have already foudn their way into the route)

Douh.... Its actually a default S&C Item

Naill

This is continuing to develope and looks good. Looking forward to a real street tram route.

There is a nice red pillar box on the Lakeside & Sutton Railway available from UKTS which you could adapt.

Haven't posted for a while as my thoughts only agree with what others are saying. But I feel it's about time you knew that yet another "Tramsimmer" is exceedingly excited about the excellent work you are doing.

Re-discovered it last night.

Its now sprouting up all over the town.

Frame rates seem to be alright as long as a certain building isn't in shot, this is probably due to my poor attempt at a section of the roof which i couldnt' create out of standard shapes... that buildings back on the drawing board

The Fleetwood Patch I am working on could do with a post box or two, so I will just have to pinch a couple from the S&C.
