Still on hold. Working on Highworth. Will get back to it when Highworth's done, although it may end up progressing at a slowish rate since I have plans to extend Highworth that I'm really burning to get on with.

Line history sent.

Aaaaargh! What am I going to do with all this bespoke rolling stock that's cluttering up the works. Especially as it's 2x Scale - thus no use to anyone else...

Anyone interested in freelance rolling stock?

Cheers

Mike

I still want the stock Mike, it's just that I'm having fun with HW again now. Actually as Carrick is a way to let my hair down perhaps I will finish it next...

A good thread, and well worth reviving!

(Thinks... I should complain more often.)

Where were we up to in the rolling stock generation cycle?

I think the last thing you sent me were the L&B style 4T opens. But to be brutally honest I am no fan of the blue and red ones, they are just too bright. Opens also need loaded versions in my view, so you can make sensible 2-part activities with them. I find an anonymous lump under a tarpaulin works wonders ;)

You also sent me the lowloader with the plough load, but I am unsure if I need the plough s / sd / ace files as a freight anim or the plough is an integral part of the wagon?

Last night I laid the track for 3 more stations, although one of them is just a halt and siding jobbie, and another 2 miles of track. The whole of the north cliff coast line is laid to Perran Wharf now apart from 2 stations and if I can do the scenery justice it will make spectacular viewing as the main line overlooks a branchline that runs further down the cliff face, so you could look down 50m-75m or so onto an AI train chuffing along below you.

No problems - the coloured ones were actually quite early on in my learning curve - I'm sure I'll do better now. I'll arc them up...

ACtually I just deleted the frelance coaches from my computer :( They were still missing files for some reason and it seems that a few other things have gone wierd too O_O
Like missing Dolgoch files (after downloading twice!) but everything is there...as well as other unexplained files! :o

(sorry about the off topic post)

Errmm....can you send me a pic of each car you don't have any use for sp762?
I think I might like to use them if they are what I need

*EDIT*
The pictures you posted didn't load before so I didn't see them :opps: Sorry ...err...can you just describe what stock you have made? (I'm very busy so I haven't read most of the thread sorry if I'm overlooking things >_<)

A short progress report as I have gone a bit mental tonight and reached Treluswell in the far NW of the island. Unfortunately my levels proved to be a bit out and I reached the coast some 60m above sea level.    :o My surveyor has been told off, sacked and hurled into the nearest fijord with his boots tied around his neck...

So Treluswell now has a spectacular 1 in 40 approach and a hairpin bend on the heights above it. It looks super but it's hardly UKNG railway practice so I am treating this whole project a bit more light heartedly now, it's almost a sort of Ffestiniog meets SeaView 3.

Actually I think the whole lot could do with a texture revisit. They all need some kind of weathering I think. I have gotten very anti-clean trains in my old age. Lets discuss by e-mail to save cluttering the forum with chit chat.
