Smashing video, Gary. Love the choice of music.

Thanks Kevin, although I must admit it was Phil who found the music, well being older and all that

A render of the current state of the loco. I've now started to add some of the detailing that was not possible to add with the MSTS version, and also reworking some of the less well made parts from the old model.

The texturing is from the old MSTS model and will be completely redone (hopefully, correctly!) for the RW version.

Thought I'd post up a couple of progress pictures of Lyn for people who don't frequent the Railworks forums:-

Still plenty of work to do, but think I'm finally getting there.

And today the real life Lyd in 2' gauge steamed and ran under its own power! An obvious candidate for a model!

Hi All,

Just joined here after seeing this thread.

I just can't believe the impressive detail and the "Real" likeness shown on these stills.

I have been doing many years of looking at Barnstaple's old photo's and this is amazing.

Keep up the good work and can't wait for my copy.

Kind regards.

The wicked thing about these shots is "The Colour" all the pictures I have seen are in black and white or in real life, less the railway bits. I do remember bits of the old town before they chewed it up for roads and stuff, so all the bits of old buildings not there now are back in this program. Amazing!

As for the route out of town, Much has not changed except here and there.

May I suggest selling these through Woody Bay Station.

Eyore, I will get back to you soon.

Cheers,
