Sorry for the long delay in replying Bruce. The foliage pack is a free update with RW :)

Thanks Kevin.

Here are a few more scenes from Barnstaple. It will be interesting to see if any locals can recognise them

Shapland & Petter plus the Taw Bridge taking the standard guage from Barnstaple Junction past Queen Anne's walk to Barnstaple Town - fantastic.

Went to school in Barnstaple and I know those sights well.

This reconstruction of the L&B is going to place me right back as an early teenager (mid to late '60s) when I was just starting to get interested in North Devon's railways - pestering my dad (who was, at the time, the Area Manager of British Rail in North Devon) to drive me out to various L&B stations, Chelfham Viaduct etc...Happy days.

I used to take every opportunity to go to the stations that he looked after, but I always had a particular fascination with Barnstaple Town, and the old L&B platform. Can't wait :)

I'm afraid not, I went to the red brick pile on the other side of Rock Park :)

If any of you locals are still watching, perhaps you can help Gary and me by identifying the strange building on Castle Quay, in the picture below.

Its obviously something to do with the electricity works which is just out of picture to the right, over the otherside of the track, but what and why?

I can't see the picture, but if it is by the level crossing it's a large substation. Post the picture again as I may be thinking of the wrong thing.

Funny I can see it now, I don't know, but now it's the Substation, first time I have seen that photo.
