Those look superb, if you make them truescale versions will look very at home on the Piddington.

Nice work but the compressor looks a little small. Here's some inspiration

I wanted to have a tiny petrol engine type compressor that explains why two big tanks are there. But then it occurred to me that it could be a petrol water pump and they are two water storage tanks with taps !!! Dunno
Maybe I should make a compressor truck as well
All sorts of ideas for PW Gang and works types kit

These are looking good - it's amazing what you can do with a bit of Dexion angle! I suspect that you have seen Sidney Leleux's book on industrial NG stock and trackwork, but if you haven't there are some very interesting variations on a skip frame in it.

This is REALLY adictive ! Once you have the basic frame down the ability to do some serious heath robinson inventions ....
Started to carried away with a generator van...

Yes, I actually have the book folded open beside me as a write looking at a rather wacky welding kit ... he he he
All credit though to Kevin Martin whose amazing textures for plate steel etc I have shamelessly helped myself to.
I just weld bits together and steal other peoples hard work on the textures, hence the lack of public release as i need to contact Mr Martin to get his OK.

No problem, whatsoever, with you using my textures. (though would appreciate a mention in the readme)
Cheers,
Kevin

uh huh.
Might have made a couple more.
Tool wagon
Welding Kit ( see page 45 of the above book)
A large compressor / power unit in a box
So for the PW gang we now have
Crane, flat trucks, compressor, power unit, welder, tool kit.
Wondering what else might be needed ?

In Britain, a Jim Crow is a piece of equipment used to bend rails either by means of a huge screw, or a hydraulic jack. Sir Arthur Heywood had a wagon-mounted one for use a Duffield Bank, and presumably, Eaton Hall.
