One thing I forgot to mention was that, although I haven't placed passengers in the coach, it is passenger enabled with opening doors etc.
Cheers,
Kevin

I did get a rather interesting effect. I had the engine on the flat, hooked up to four coaches. I chugged forwards a bit, stopped and the with the regulator closed, on a totally flat bit of track removed the breaks and for some unfathamable reason started to roll forwards... ?????
weird.

Thanks Murray

I've just been reminded that I have a 2ft Van I can release, so will have to see about packaging it up.
Starnge about the loco creeping forward, I've not noticed that. What driving mode are you using? (simple, inter ot expert)
Cheers,
Kevin

I'll have a look at the locos brakes later today.
I've seen the whistle problem a few times in the past using the default stock. I usually restart the game to get it to work. Never tried replacing the stock. I'll try that the next time it happens.
Cheers,
Kevin

while bilding the 1st station of my 2ft gauge route I have managed to get the engine being pulled along problem to reaccur.
this time it is happening after I couple up to the coaches. (5 coaches coupleing 3 times) it seems that the coaches are pulling the engine along. (this time they pulled backwards.) as once the coaches were decoupled the engine was perfectly happy to sit still.

I've been trying to reproduce this and haven't managed to do it so far. When the loco moves do the wheels rotate or are they sliding.
One thing you could try is uninstalling the stock and then reinstaling them, using the package manager, just to make sure the installation has gone correctly.
Cheers,
Kevin

uninstalling is easier said than done as I dont know what package number I'm looking for.
btw... I have been experimenting with the problem some more... it seems to be caused by the process of coupling to the coaches. the wobble of the train on the track seems to continue after the event as a jerking rocking motion which seems to pull the train in one direction or the other. the solution I have found is to hold the breaks on using the "/" key untill the rocking motion seased. then there is no more pull and all acts as it should do. (the more times you couple the worse the motion)
p.s. even though I may seem like I am complaining, I do really like the engine and coaches.
