Seeing as the real Northern Rock is having a bit of an overhaul a the mo i thought i would give my model one as well. So here's the before and after shots. Much better now its not bright yellow don't you think?

It's still work in progress but what i could really do with is a nice close up photo of the writing on the tender that i can use as a texture. So any help with that would be very much appreciated.
Cheers
Tim

Very nice Tim, ask the nice folks at the Miniature Railway World Forums if any have any...that's probably your best bet for pictures.

I have commented on this forum about the lack of much in the way of realistic cabviews or sound files for narrow gauge locos. You might find some of my comments helpful.

That looks excellent now Tim, the colour looks more like the prototype, I know its an unusual colour to replicate well.
Route is now at a very advanced state with test activities being done and an invisible signalling system to control train flow, seen as radio control cant be replicated in MSTS!

New addition to the fleet thanks to Andrew Lamin
Heywood 0-4-0t Katie- as run at Ravenglass in the very early years of 15 inch gauge. In real life a new build with some original parts is currently in progress at Ravenglass.

Thanks very much!
Katie was a product of the late Victorian age, when large families were quite common, so here is one of her sisters:-

Ursula is in the pipeline, possibly as part of a more general Heywood project, along with Shelagh. Ella did go to Ravenglass and so may be done as part of this job.
