Yep I have noticed that one Andrew and have pictures of it for reference, a bit beyond the scope of google sketchup, but if I get down to fine tuning- I may well ask of some help there..............

Major building work around Ravenglass in progress...............

Work is coming along at a good pace now that I'm getting to grips with modelling, once Ravenglass is complete the parts in between there and Eskdale are sparsely populated so will be easier to model.

Looking good. Buildings and scenery are the bits which take the effort and time, but I think it's worth it. Is there a hint of a main line station in the back ground?

Looking really good, David.

Can see that you've really caught the 3D modelling "bug" :)

Cheers,
Kevin

Yep it will be there with appropriate trains going past- certainly sprinters, may also arrange for the occasional class 20 pairs on flask trains!

Yep sure have! Although it has to wait between firing turns- and of course you've seen (or should that be heard) what fun i can have up and down the valley!

Or am I asking a wee bit too much

Hmm, maybe! Unless someone can produce me a model of 48151 not made by Terry Thornton! A connecting steam excursion activity where you wait in the head shunt and greet it with whistles then pick the train up in the station woudl be a good one though. Perhaps 4472 could be used as it was a regular to Sellafield in the 1980s.

In that case though, all the Ratty stock would have to be in 1980s liveries to match

True, but I'm not making a loco specially for the purpose!!

I'm going to investigate a steam loco for connecting excursions though so watch this space....................

Quick observation, not a critisism. The trackwork seems to 'spaced out', the distance between the track is to big :-?

But apart from that, looks like a winner to me :)
