I've also just uploaded some (freelance) NG coal wagons to go with the other stock released last week.
 | | | 2ft 3in gauge Open Coal wagons [738500 bytes] - 2ft 3in Open Coal Wagon (kngtrains).zip File ID: 18549 Date: 03 Mar 2008 - 3481 Downloads |

Please note that the wagons will "interact" before the buffers actually touch. This is deliberate. I did try having the wagons "interact" when the buffers touched, but if you then tried to couple with the buffers touching then the wagon consist would explode!!
(I presume as the consist tried to space itself out to accommodate the coupling?)
Cheers,
Kevin

Every time I see some more of this, I think that I must try a bit harder to get to grips with Rail Simulator. It's looking very good

Thanks, Andrew. It probably is worth persevering with, as the end results can look good. Having talked to many people over the last few weeks (and hopefully helped them in some way!!) I can appreciate that it can seem a bit intimidating to start with.
Going completely off topic, I found this whilst searching for the corris van source files, and thought it might be something you'd be interested in seeing. I must have started this over a year or so ago, and then promptly forgot it!!!
cheers,
Kevin

Kevin,
You're dead right! I think it's Fowler 4668 of 1883 2ft gauge for a sugar mill in Queensland, and only a little bit larger than some which I might stretch my 18in gauge definition to include - the 20in gauge engines of Hawaii.
I thought I was good at forgetting things - I once mislaid a 1/18th scale Bugatti for a couple of years, but I obviously have a long way to go, unless there's something that I've forgotten that I've forgotten.

Both loco and brake van look great Kevin, have just bought RS and have already been having lots of fun driving Nos. 1 and 2 on the Corris route

So please keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comments.
Your right about it being a Queensland Fowler, Andrew (I'd have to check the number, though). I'm tempted to get it up and running in this state, just to see the motion in action.
Cheers,
Kevin

Thanks, Murray. I've a couple of other locos nearing completion, but there is an expectation that custom cabs are "de rigueur" with railsim models and this is slowing things down, somewhat!
Cheers,
Kevin

Thanks very much, Ben.
The loco files are now back on my main drive so, hopefully, some progress will be made soon.
Cheers,
Kevin

It seems ages since I've done any NG modelling, so decided to start work on the final Corris Falcon engine, no 3 :-
