Well the Snowdon route (which I have a WIP copy of), has fully accurate terrain and it handles it alright on my BIN setup.
Which reminds me I'll have to "digitus extractus"!
I'm afraid real life and wandering into RS territory has made me stray off course a little. But having been escorted off the premises, I'll try and summon up the enthusiasm to get back on track.

The WIP copy of a Snowdon route sounds very tempting! Is it possible to obtain a copy?

Rob,
Still think im going to let sleeping dogs lie on that one, after 2 or 3 rebuilds on it the first time round I dont think im going to take my chances on it again just in case!

Bruce did something rather cunning with terrain if I recall using DEM and something else to get very very detailed terrain, I think this was also something MSTS didnt appreciate.
Snowdon sounds interesting, will be very interested to see the MSTS physics involved in getting it to work!!!

Hello
This may not be to do with Gelert but I think it was the closest related page. The welsh highland garratts make fantastic models and I was wondering if a model of the new white/grey No87 is being planned to be made or re skinned from another garratt.
Regards

Hi All,
What a shame if it has been abandoned, the loco has always intrigued me. A very nice design and lovely colour too. Can anyone be persuaded to get it going again
