Considering that we only have a given amount of B/W photos of the original that statement is probably very accurate.

If only we could have the real thing its the second best looking fairlie by far :D :D

Cracking!
Nice to see the valve gear has been modelled so the loco is 'in gear' so to speak,rather than the neutral position of most msts models.

cant wait to try this out up festiniog railway, will it have air or vac brakes?

You can "blame" Richard (portbury) for pointing out that the loco needed to be in gear. I had originally modelled it in neutral!

The loco will come with vacuum brakes as default (to make it compatible with other stock). There is a chance that Richard will do a vacuum braked .eng file as an extra, though.
