Thanks for the comments. One thing I haven't mentioned is that Richard (Portbury) has agreed to do the .eng file so it should be fun to drive, as well :)

Hopefully, the loco should be released for trainz and kujusim, (when/if it ever appears ;)).

Cheers,
Kevin

A couple of renders showing the texturing progress. (not complete and some texturing may change before the loco is finished/released)

Good? It's bloody brilliant! We've not seen any TR or FR stock for a while, so the quality of these models compared to the old ones is amazing.

As thammond and Ben say, this looks absolutely amazing! :) I know this is 2x scale, but would you please also release a truescale version, for those of us that way inclined? i can never seem to get Shape File Editor to work for loco's...

Here's hoping MSTS doesn't ruin the textures.

Looking fantastic.

Thanks for the comments.:)

I will do a truescale version, though I may release this as a patch, like I used to do in the old days.

MSTS will degrade the textures but it should still look ok.

Thanks, good news. Looks like MSTS hasn't killed the textures too badly either. What did you say the final poly count was?

Thanks.
The textures have come across pretty well ;)
The model has a poly count of around the 13,800 mark. This will go up a bit when I add the crew, though.

Thanks for that. But regarding the crew, would they not be able to be / will they not be / aren't they a FreightAnim? (sorry about the grammar, it's been a long day...)
