I wasn't talking about poly count hence the "Not that the poly count is the issue" part of my post.

GMax can export at any number of polys, the issue isn't how many polys you're trying to export, it's what MSTS will accept.

MSTS only gets picky when one edge of the poly is about 2-3mm
Those bolts should be OK - min 5mm?

Will have to measure them to be sure, but I've used similar sized bolts in other MSTS models without a problem.

Model at the moment is a modest 11,000 polys. (+ still have to do a hidden poly cull)

Wow! Looking very nice. You've really captured the character of the engines in the model. Can't wait to see more.

First update for a while (due to a canvas problem, to which the only cure I found, was to reinstall Vista :( )

About as much detail as I'm going to add at the moment.
Time to start a bit of texturing, I think :)

There is still a bit! Mainly around the firebox area, but this may have to wait till I, hopefully, manage to get a visit Tywyn, shortly.

Also have a feeling that a lot of the detail may dissapear under the texturing (or, maybe, even be better represented by texturing). Will have to wait and see.

Latest picture is of the completed loco running in MSTS (in works grey)

Are we likely to get this loco for TRS Kev? Nice work, really like it.
