All we need now is a WW1 narrow gauge route!
In actual fact, that would be quite cool.

I might give that a go sometime, thanks Tom.g0fthick wrote:Well if it's because you've got two polygonal faces with holes in and nothing in between, you could make a few low poly (6 or so) faced cylinders, delete the front and back faces and position them between the holes, so it looks like you've got a booleaned surface without the horrific mesh issues and the poly count.
Mike Wilson was always going to build some of the WW1 trenches for MSTS.

Excellent model! How do you make your textures?
The Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway desperately needs your help! This historical industrial narrow gauge line is closing down. It is defiantly a link to the past to when Britain was truly industrial. Visit http://www.SKLR.net for more Information.

QUESTION; has anyone downloaded or had trouble downloading this model???
This new server seems to be down more often than not and this is out weighing the benefits of the file sizes they support, also not sure if my download counter is working?
I’m going to go the whole course, and BUY some hosting space to solve all these issues. It may also have some interesting benefits???
Neil, the textures for this model were made entirely with a method I saw on a 3D modelling forum years ago (click HERE for my topic on the subject) and thought I should try. Thanks for you comments, they are always encouraging.
