I'll stop work on russel for a bit now (You said in PM) and carry on with bedgelert, if the Welsh Highland ask for Bedgelert i'll keep mine but stop work on it and make something else.

P.S Here is a list of what I MIGHT make:

Bedgelert
Funkey Diesel
NG15
Monarch

If you don't know what these are check them out on

http://www.bangor.ac.uk/ml/whr/whrstock.htm

can you tell me if that works?

Been a fair time since we've posted anything on the Ffestiniog MSTS route. To show that it is still being worked on then here's a (comparison) picture of the work done so far on Minffordd Station.

Cheers

Any more than just the two frames from this film available? ;)

Nice work. Keep going.

Thanks Martin,

I need to do a bit more work on the platform (texturing and shape), but we will post some more pictures soon.

BTW, Colin Tucker is the chap whose doing the route, I'm just doing a few of the buildings.

Cheers

Not sure of the release date at this moment in time, Terry. I know that the route author is still waiting for some work off me before he can finish it.

Dear All,

Thanks for the continuing enthusiasm.

Progress is being made, but it's slower than I'd like - primarily because the real world (work etc...) takes up far too much time!

Some screenshots:

Porthmadog Station - I still need to fill in some background, a bit more fencing, walling, vegetation etc.... The FR station buildings are by Kevin (of course!); and I think he's really looking forward to doing the platform... A BIG thank you to John Yelland for the working Discs. And the engine is Welsh Pony (by Kevin) in 1930's livery --- very cute.

Minffordd - still some tidying and vegetation to do here, but a nice spot for Taliesin and a down train - at least it would be if she wasn't headed for the Yard!

Rhiw Goch - another nice spot - this time for Criccieth Castle.

Tan-Y-Bwlch - a couple of pictures... Mostly done here, though Cafe is yet to be done and bridge is a generic substitute.

In other areas there's still lots to do. Kevin is currently working on the Boston Lodge Buildings, so I won't spoil the surprise. I've still got lots of scenery to fill in - which will be easier now that MSTS editor doesn't crash so often (had a few problems...!)

Hope this helps,

Batroost (:evilbat:)

Looking simply great!

Please send this to the FR site when finished so I can download it from there as the download system at UKTS always runs out before I can get anything! If the FR site can't host the file I'll ask Ben Fisher if he could.

Cheers, can't wait to drive out of Tan-y-Bwlch!

I havn't discussed with Colin how he will distribute the route but I have a feeling that the download size may be too large for the FR/WHR websites.

I would envisage that it may probably be distributed via CD.

Ben Fisher is on a Univercity sever and is likely to have lots of room, I'll email him to find out.

Wow it does look rather good really. Especially love Porthmadog and Rhiw Goch... Is that a sprinter under the bridge at Minfordd???
