That's great news Ben, I'm sure the route will be great fun to drive even without complete scenery. I'm very much looking forward to getting my copy 8)

Quick question for you all.....

Single Headcode (for passenger workings) on the locos, or no headcode at all?

Ben

I'd agree. You're probably more likely to see an engine on shed with a disc than working a passenger service without one.

That said, you could do them as freight anims on a separate wagon, like these headboards...but I expect that would mean more work for you!

This Beta release is certainly very worthwhile. Excellent buildings and scenery around all the stations. Trackwork route, roads, rivers, bridges and buildings also placed as in real life. Great atmosphere whilst belting along in these great little trains. Look forward to updates in the route and activities in the future. A well worth excellent buy.

For those of you who may have seen, the MSTS Romney mini-site is now back after its brief absence, and the route is available for order again.

And Peter, thank you.

The scenarised section is certainly fantastic. I also look forward to updates in the future.

Some shots i've taken of the route can be found here:

One little thing i've noticed, i didnt see it in the readme. In some track sections the rail turns a blue colour from certain angles. Not sure if anyone has noticed this yet!

Cheers,

Well done to Ben and all the others concerned with the route. I know my name is mentioned in the "Thank You's" but other than provide access to the railway and a couple of footplate rides i did very little.

Tim

PS. Must get MSTS re-installed

Tim,

You also answered all my questions on cab layouts - I would certainly have got some of it wrong otherwise.
