BTW how bright are they, ie will you still need the headlight as well? Would look great if you dont need it with them.

JR
They are quite bright (they use LED replacements for domestic low voltage downlight lamps), but i wouldn't have thought they would replace the headlight, but until they have been used in the dark then who knows

Its a shame that Rail sim has come out while you are in the process of making your route. Do you have the information for someone else to make the route in rail sim or could you think of doing a version for rail sim sometime in the future?

By the way, I like the screenshots of your route, which give me the feel of a miniature railway.

Thanks :D

Although it is down to Ben to say, and not myself, Rail Sim does not support Narrow Gauge or minaiture routes. Many train sim users are sticking with MSTS, especially narrow gauge fans, and it is Ben'sintention to finish this route as time constraints allow.

It was known when thus project was started that Rail Sim would come out during the packs development. This changes nothing, my own group - BucksTS - announcing a miniature railway pack the other day (plug - http://www.bucksts.org). MSTS is still the one and only sim for add-ons that aren't standard gauge.

As Jon said, we still will be finishing this project for MSTS.

We knew when we started that KRS was just around the corner but MSTS is much better for narrow gauge routes at this stage.

Thanks for the comments.

Ben :)

Well, if you take it literally there are loads. But most on here will favour MSTS.

In response to a screenshots request, I have prepared a set of screenshots from Hythe to New Romney with Samson and Hercules.

Samson is also seen sporting one of the brand new design tenders (albeit without lettering)

The pictures are fairly small - if anyone requires any larger versions let me know and I will get some larger versions of individual pictures.

Ben posted a little news update about the route in July on his website, I guess that's recentish, let's hope he's kept going with it.

Hi All,

Update:

It has been decided recently that the route will be released as Alpha (scenically incomplete) freeware on a CD available from Bubble's Railways.

Any updates to the currently scenery-incomplete route will be posted on the Bubble's Railways website.

The route was sent to testers two weeks ago, however they came up with quite a few issues that need to be sorted before the route can be released, even in Alpha format, so this needs to be addressed. I am in the process (this evening) of emailing a few people who can assist me in sorting these bugs (mainly with the locos) before release.

Hopefully not too much longer.
