I've recently returned to MSTS (some of you may know who I was previously) and I have to say this route is pretty good! Well done; its come a long way since the original Alpha version I remember playing a long while ago!
Well done!

Just a quick update, the newly repackaged version is almost done uploading, i've transfered all the files, just gotta get it sideloaded in to the site now.
Hopefully some time today it'll be available in its new self-installer version - without any winzip 10 requirements (in fact, without any winzip requirements at all since it's a self installer

)
Colin has also repacked the activities in to separate APK files so the route no longer includes activities, services or traffic - meaning it will install and run right out of the box, and you can then install the activities one at a time as you get stock.

Some pictures from the Up Train activity, with Blanche.
Waiting at Tan-y-Bwlch, I got here rather early so I went to make a cuppa railway tea whilst waiting for the down train
Observation Carriage 100 on the rear of the rake
Criccieth Castle rolls in with another modern rake

Caledonia and a couple of M wagons.... certainly different, shouldnt it be Sea Lion though as the only Manx Engine to run up the FR?
If I can get my MSTS to reinstall (and despite having two sets of disks its not too happy with either of them at the moment.) I think I might have a look at this.

I'll have to buy this once I've had my next session of volunteering on the real thing in two weeks time. I downloaded it but want to have it on CD as a standby incase of my PC going belly up again
Cheers,
Dale Williams
All Good Fun.

Have just uploaded a fix for USDecidTree2 which should prevent the split trunk effect. I also recommend Judd Spittler`s replacement textures for some of the other pines....the result is great

I have tried to get a better " Welsh mountain stream " effect. What do you think. If anyone is interested in a change let me know.[/img]

Looks a bit muddy to me....
Still it is below the 'sheep line'.
Also I don't think Owain Glyndwr will fit through the Garnedd tunnel - but perhaps that's why it's facing
down the line - just travelling to Dduallt?
Of course that's the fun of the simulator - you can run
what you like,
how you like. When I'm testing the route I tend to use Chris Longhurst's Jet Train - travels at ~1500km/hour so doesn't take long to get about....

Hi
I've always personally found routes, where the author paints the stream onto a tile, look the most realistic.
Although of course this adds to the size of the download.
Cheers
