It's not THE missing consist.....but one made up using the intended engines and empty slate wagons. It appears to work, though.

Sorry to be a pain..any chance of UKTS ID numbers with the stock list? I *think* I have most of it, but Im not sure I have all of the wagons and coaches.

All available there - most of it exclusively.

Hi Batroost
I wonder if it would be possible to re-upload the route packaged (zipped) by good old Route Riter.
Having to use Winzip 10 which most people do not have, or intend to purchase. Is a little inconvenient.

I second Jon's suggestion of a re-zipped file through Route Riter. The prospect of having to pay and repay for Winzip 10 is not pleasing. A CD is even better.

Agreed, Winzip 10 is rather irritating and slow

I can write some more activities now

my Ashbury ones that I made when the Ashbury coaches and Pickering coach models came out a few years ago have been fairly popular, so maybe I might have more luck now that the route is more accessible, plus my computer has had yet another crash

but I now don't have to worry about not being able to get the route so...
Thank you Colin and Kevin.

Here's an interesting question...
Can activities written for the older version(s) of the Ffestiniog route be usable on this updated one? (wow I feel like a n00b now)

Should be able to be, all you have to do is fix any broken paths, I'm going to have a go at updating my Ashbury one first, then have a go at an all new pack

you'll have to wait and see about that first though

Just got the latest version working and then copied all of the activity components from the earlier version. There are lots of "illegal platform" messages with the older activities.
The way to fix them is to open an activity, watch to see what services have the problem, "edit" the traffic file, "edit" the problem service, "edit" the path, leave the path editor, "ok" the service and "save" the activity. Try to open the activity again and do the same for the next problem service, if there is one. Otherwise go on to the next activity.

Route is fantastic. Well worth the problems of the download and getting hold of the stock. Scenery is awesome and you feel as though you are really there on those little engines working hard to get up the mountain.
Anyone still having a problem unzipping etc keep going as it is well worth it in the end.

Dear All,
This is to confirm that Matt has offered to produce an FR community CD and I have sent him the files for this, including:
- The route (obviously)!
- All of the rolling stock required by the route (Thanks to Kevin Martin for most of this and to Tim for permission to include his Britomart on the cd)
- 'Bonus' Rolling Stock from Kevin, only previously available from the FR on cd.
FYI: That means that the CD will include ~67 different engines, coaches and wagons altogether!
I believe that the CD will be sold at the bargain price of £6.50 so that £2 can be donated to the FR for each CD sold.
Please be patient - I know Matt's busy - but hopefully this won't be long in coming.
Regards,
Batroost (:evilbat:)
