Good job on River Irt; looks brilliant!

River Mites tender uses 2 sets of bogies (is that what they are called?) similar to River Irt.

Something from previous years!! Sir Aubrey Brocklebank. As you can see from the pic - I am struggling with the livery. If anyone has any clues or knows of any locos in the same livery that SAB would have carried (Midland Red lined with gold and black I believe) then please get in touch!!

Hmm. looks a bit big to me-did you have drawings for this? If not, I might be able to get you some.
According to Humphrey Household the livery was actually Furness red.
Apart from that, however, it's a good model, and an interesting prototype

No, It is to scale drawings which I got from one of my dad's Ratty books. It looks about the right size if you look at the coach in the background. In my opinion anyway!!

try poseing it next to a Basset lowke class 30 seeing as its practically the same engine just longer, well john anthony was anyway and SRB was practicallly the same but with more design flaws.
For the colour scheme have a look at Furness Railway No20 on the L&HR.

Remember that Sir Aubrey was to one-quater scale, rather than the one-third scale of River Esk and the Romney pacifics, and should therefore be much smaller-if you look at early photos of Ravenglass with Sans Pareil hauling the Heywood coaches and you'll see what I mean-she is positivly dwarfed by them! Again, I've probably got dimensions for the very similar class 60 pacific if you need them
