Those people do look a little small come to think of it!

Dave, if you want these in x2 scale, feel free to copy the shape files from my HLMR route, plenty of x2 scale people in there.

Rescaling is a tedious though when complete rewarding task and adds a lot more realism to the route.

Well not all the scenery needs 2x scaling-the lamps for example are fine as they are IMHO. The people however do need to be the right size! It's just a question of using your judgement really.

Well when I was working on my (now dropped) Garden Festival project, I left various items at 1x scale where a large item was inappropriate. For example, I used a 1x scale water coulmn from Highworth because you don't need a full size one on 15" gauge  Similarly, I kept the shed at 1x because you don't need to store HSTs on a 15" line! As I say, you just have to use your judgement.

Yep not all my scenery is x2 scale either. Sheds and footbridges for example are the same as x1 scale, lamps will look OK as well.

Platforms want to be 1x scale or they're too high - look at Sutton on the Lakeside line for instance.

On my 2 (one WIP) 15 inch routes, some are x2 scale, but sunk into the ground so they are the right height, but the edging stones are the correct size.

Its all down to personal preference really.

Nice work Dave- Its good to see some miniature custom stock being done  .

Can I just suggest making the carriage body a little wider so it would seat 2 peopel side by side a little more comfortably  Modern 15 inch stock does have quite a large overhang for that purpose now.

Also I hope there's a footwell in the tank's cab- or the driver may have to sit with his knees round his ears!

Good work though and full marks for completing the Littlemoor project with new lcoos!
