NOPE

Parks and Gardens Gigabash Special Train, 22nd October this year, using MY camera, with Joe's mother taking the shot ;)
Must admit, it was novel seeing William doing some work during the afternoon before the train ;) pity that everyone, (under age that is) decided that my Old Speckled Hen was more drinkable than their SOFT drinks ;) :drinking:

Coach we were in 111, the P/P obs carr, first class :D

Dale

What, you didn't see my Smillie? ;)

William, I know that you do a lot of work, it was just the first time that I'd seen yu do any, that's all :D

And yes, Joe and I dd ride in 102, after I spoke with the guard, who was in the same room as me in Minffordd Hostel and he said yes (We didn't have to pay owt either :D
And as proof...

Luverly ride BTW, the Pullmann style seats are not quite as comfortable as the ones in the Obs part, but by 'eck they are still more comy than third class ones :D

I'll post more pics from the SAT night soon, (Oh and a couple from during the day ;) )

Dale

Thats why most people have to pay £3 extra or whatever it is. Personally i prefer the pullman seats much better for falling asleep in. Did you like the LED lighting on the roof in 102 . 111 is much better at 25mph it rides a bit smoother not that we ever go that fast. :D

Tim

P.S. I've never seen Will doing any work either

My first ride in 102 was the Tuesday before on the last train of the day, so the LED lighting came in use then, really, good, the main light were only switched on when one passenger in third said that they couldn't see. :D That was also a free ride in first (Aint I lucky) but being the brother of one of the builders/painters/the one what put the LEDs in does have its uses I suppose ;) (Oh yeah, and knowing the Guard quite well :D

I've riden in all obs carrs on the line (not 12 or whatever it is now) i.e. 100 101, 102 and 111 and have to say the ride quality is better on 111 but the ambience is what captures the passengers, and 102 has it all. If this is what a lot of money can do, what can a lot more money do? If only people would support the first class coaches appeal (hint ;) ) then there'd be three FULL FIRSTs, three Service vehicles, and the rest Thirds, apart from heritage stock. Now wouldn't that be good :D of course, Kevin's lovely models of the obs carrs would ned to be updated, but that shouldn't be too difficult, or we could create Heritage Sim, a group of people dedicated to run the FfR Route using only vintage, non-existant (in that form anyway) coaches :D

Anyhow I digress, 102 is Brill :D

Dale

Its spelt Arrrrrrrrgh I believe

Lovely comments on 102 - it is superb and something I proudly say I was a part of (even though that part is rather small!) I painted the back footplate above the coupling! Every little helps

111 isn't really a Obs, more of a DVT for the push-pull set which I believe is being disbaned infavour of proper Obs carrs - and of course Vale Of Ffestiniog isn't push-pull fitted so there is little chance to use it at the moment.
