Simple.. make the running line and the shed roads paralell and make the shed roads about 3 times longer with less gap between the repair shop and the running shed. The repair shop shouldnt be as long by the way, only about 3 engines long.. then behind the running shed off the main line, place a right hand point, 2 10m strts a right hand point curve, then a right hand point, curve on the end of it and make 2 carriage shed roads follow the running line :)...

Chris

Any chance of a shot looking the other way towards the platforms?

Just looked at the shot again... are you using finescale trackwork? If so might i reccomend normal track retextured? Gives a chunkier NG feel to it, and also allows the use of dynamic track, a god send when laying single line branch lines!

Definately far, far too short for Douglas station. Can I recommend a 'site visit' or getting in contact with someone on the Island who may have more information that would make the trackplan more accurate?

Re: Photos and such like, ive got a couple of thousand lying around for when SPTS tackle the IoMR in the next generation of sims. What books are you working off for this? Isle of Man Classic Steam is a must, and as Ive said James Boyd's books are also essential if your thinking of tackling this!

had a quick play in RE last night myself, will upload a shot or two of how I reckon it should look when i get a moment.

I've added some of my 2005 visit to billsrailpics.fpic.co.uk , are you using DEM, what are you doing about custom buildings?

I wouldn't try recording it off a camera, the result would be very low quality. I'm not sure how to do it, try running a forum search.
