Ben :)
Not sure that would be a good idea if there is a chance that the CD would be used by people who are not completely at ease with computer file usage.

When I first started supplying stock to the Ffestiniog railways website, it was all installed by copying and pasting etc. This caused major problems for a lot of people. I used to spend, literally, 1 to 2 hours a day trying to help people install stuff.
Once I started using auto installers, I never had another problem with people installing stock.

I understand your point, but I did it with my recently CD release and I've had no emails with people not able to follow the clearly written instructions.

I guess it all probably depends on the customers.

It depends on your audience. If they are trainsim community based you'll probably be ok. It's if you start selling to the "general public" who are not so used to file manipulation.

Thats true, and Jon is hoping to sell from the GGR shop.

Okay, lets stick to installers :)

Thanks for the points from both sides guys, but as Ben highlighted it will be from the GGR shop as well so installers still sounds good :D

Besides, there's no reason I can see why the installer I wrote shouldn't be working. I think the problem must be somewhere in the route files themselves...

I doubt it will be problems in route files as it loads in RE. The installer is installing less fiels than Dave's version for some reason, or so it appears.

Doubtless Dave will iron out any problems.

We're meeting on September 4th to see what can be done with the installer.

Production of the DVD cases etc started on the bank holiday week.

We are delighted to announce that Murray has fixed the installer, now only a matter of days, and although we're not committingto a release date we are hoping for Monday 17th September to be the first shipment.

Please also be aware that our next pack, the Darjeeling and Himalayan Stock pack, is about 3-4 weeks behind this one.

I think it's best to let others decide if it is wonderful EDIT: comment retracted

Here are some things I'd improve on. First of all, use more than one house shape per block other it ruins the appeal. Second, if those yellow coloured trees are yours set the object properties in each part to transcrcfm otherwise they will have one face darker than the other. If that is not an option use them as a forest instead.
Try and enable your dynamic shadows for the locomotive sheds and anything that goes over the track. it will look more realistic.

Otherwise it is looking ok so far :)

Well, when you say so far I have to correct you, as it's the finished article. Enough copies to justify the pre-orders are burnt, awaiting the DVD sleeves and posting, in front of me.

The GGR cottages are all the same shape on that face - they differ on the other side (believe me, I've stayed there). The trees are not mine.
