A few more shots for you. Since the last:

1) Groudle cottages at Lime Kiln
2) Bridge at Lime Kiln
3) Hut and water tank at Lhen Coan (not in any of the current shots)
4) Fences
5) Picnic benches (not in any of the current shots)
6) People
7) Cars
8) Portaloo at Lhen Coan (not in any of the current shots)
9) Signage

It is now very close to completion, thanks allot to Dave Ward who keeps supplying me with drawings to build the buildings, and only the remains at SLR and some platform benches remain.

Work continues on the manual and stock ready for release which should be around Easter - although we'll be showing at TSC

Anyway, shots at http://www.bucksts.com/ggrrouteshots.htm and they're mixed in with the old ones - you'll have to work out what ones the new ones are!

The track's down its just a matter of whether there's time to build a simple tram for 'in the distance'

Thanks Chris.

I'm looking into the tram, as Dave says just depends if I can find the time to build it.

The pack is to retail at £6.99 with at least £4.00 of each sale going directly to teh Groudle Glen Railway
Where does the other 2.99 go? The disks i've been involved with, production costs are less than 50p.....hopefully nothing is going into your own pocket on this? :(

Same old question isn't it Dave.....

Firstly - it is illegal for me to do so.

Secondly, production costs for me are CD (22p) + DVD case (22.5p) + printing (from printers at around 55p) plus disc labels and papr - bringing it to around £1.23.

I expect to be giving £5 - £6 from each sale - but we cannot advertise this in case they rise for some reason.

I cannot believe that production costs are that low. I suspect you are loosing money, which - if this is the case - it is probably good that you are not involved closely with this one.

Hi Jon,

Didn't mean to cause debate as such - just curious, thats all. Even by your listing, 1.50 or so is not accounted for....i'm not trying to gripe, just curious as to where my money would be going if I bought the addon, thats all, as I want to support the GGR just as much as everyone else :)

How so? I'm not involved with the production of addons - the ones i've helped work on are produced in bulk by the organisations they are made for - hence the costs are rather low as the said organisations get discounts, and also make the addons 'en masse' (ok, not thousands at a time, but not 'one by one' :)). I presumed GGR was similar, however I now presume this is not the case.

Can't help but think your answer was in the same aggressive style of a similar message to myself on another forum recently? For now, I will put your reply above down to the same reason as you gave following that message.

Dave,

I am talking with the GGR about bulk buying and thus the production costs will be lower. At the moment, however, we have to stick with £4 being the minimum, although as I say it should be around £5.50+ - I am unsure until i start running them to be honest and thus did not advertise £5.50 incase we cannot meet it.

Ok dokey, no worries - as long as the GGR is benefitting as it should, i'm happy :)

Put me down for one.
