I thought that train looked familiar, then realized i had seen it on one of the lines i recently visited.

The line was called "Vale of Rheidol Railway" and the engine pulling was called "Prince of Wales", i've got loads of pictures if you need any reference helpers as i planned to model it at some point.

Yes there is...you just need to look for a more obscure prototype. To the best of my knowledge, no rolling stock from any of these railways has been done:
Sand Hutton Light Railway
Cambeltown and Macrihanish Light Railway
Jersey Railways and Tramways
Surrey Border and Camberley
Manx Northern Railway
Royal Arsenal Railway
and doubtless many more!

You could try modelling the diesel on the VofR, that has yet to be modelled.

Good thinking Dale-it's probably easier to start with a diesel anyway. Also, you could do the Vale of Rheidol coaches-I was going to do these but am now buried with work for the Groudle Glen project. I can even give you drawings for them if you want!

That would be swell, as i don't have many photos of the carriages.

And i live in St.Neots, not far from Cambridge. My nearest line is the Nene Valley Railway.
