Progress on Prince of Wales

Nearly finished, just need to paint the cylinders red, and do a few minor adjustments to the .eng file (all about the engine ;) ) then I'll upload version 1, version 2 will include new .s and .sd files that reg has made, though he is having dificulty sending them to me at the moment, as soon as they arrive I'll update the VofR tanks I've done recently ;)

Update on Prince of Wales (loco not person  ) I can not paint the cylinders red, as this paints the other black areas red, (boiler top, tank tops, dome etc...) so this reskin is an apporximation, and I'm leaving the smokebox number plate on for the time being, may remove it for version 2 but I'd like to upload it asap then do a few tweaks once I get the modified .s and .sd files.

First loco for the Loco pack is now reay, (Well nearly, need to edit the .eng file first ;) ) named Sir Clough, reasons for the name will soon become clear ;) and it is numbered ? (also soon to become clear why!)

Side view, showing the new line's logo ;)

Front 3/4 view, showing positioning of the number and the fact that it IS number ? instead of 1 ;)

PS second shot taken BEFORE first, so logo only seen on first shot.

Well what do you think, not bad for an hours work is it?

Dale,
Prince of Wales looks good, but I have a photograph of this engine that shows the tank edging to be NBR green rather than black-I can email it to you if you want.
Sir Clough is looking good as well :D

Will do William, its sort of like a perfect logo for the railway ;)

Murray, thankyou for pointing out the different colour, I was skinning off of a small picture, so it looked black, but having read the Past + Present books about the original locos, I do now see that it was painted like the LB&SC locos with a green border, so I'll modify that before I upload it.

Ok

Edited Prince of Wales to have the green tank edges, and it now looks like this...

Looking at the photos I have, it should have a yellow dome, but to do this EVERYTHING that is there would go yellow, so it'll have to stay black I'm affraid.

Ahhh, I get it! Didn't Sir Clough have something to do with the Ffestiniog, or there abouts? ;)

David
There abouts, he designed and almost sigle handedly built Portmeirion, which is where the Prisoner was set.
