Great work as usual David-but I hate to break it to you, you've got the wrong model for these two, they should be based on the Sutherland model. The IoM engines are a minefield of minor variations, so it might well be worth buying a reference book so you can spot these things.

Hope you like :D

I don't I just refer the 'The Manx Peacocks' Every time  the best source for knowledge on IOMR locos that I know of.

I'll try and sort out the red rods soon.

Yep 8,9 should be small boilered versions, but to make a decent modele of them, you need to take Number 1 and make the tanks 9 inches taller- maybe one for Reg  . Also livery wise, if you are replicating the 1960s or anything pre-1970s, the locos did not have the IOMR crests on the tankside.

Dave R or any reskinners if you need any advice on the Manx Peacocks livery/version etc, you know where to find it

All of these IoM loco reskins being uploaded are confusing. Some are new reskins/colours and some ("Pender" and "IOM6") seem to replace existing versions. One ("IOM13"), replaces a green version with a red version, and another ("IOM9"), is, in the new uploads, available in a red version with a green version which would overwrite each-other!

Can someone please clarify!!

Modified with respect to IOM9

I agree. It seems some engines have been done more than once, so I think it might be an idea for us all to put down what we've done to avoid further duplication. William and I have produced Nos 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 14 in original Brunswick green...

What has partially been done is to use, for example, "IOM8" for the red version and for green reskins "IOM8_G" (note I say "partially been done"!). Seems a good idea but needs to be fully implemented (and possibly extended for other versions). Or perhaps they should all have a suffix donating the livery.

These are to replace William's original versions, again with his permission.

And: These Will not replace any previous versions.

12 Hutchinson- Blue (1980-1997)
13 Kissack- Indian Red (Present Day)
13 Kissack- Green (1980s)

All my models have a much improved eng file.

Thornhill kept the same side tank size throughout her existance, she is basically the same loco as No.1 was when new, but the tanks are 9 inches higher, but considerably smaller than those on 4-6,10-13,16

Ah...well...you see...the thing about that is...
Basically, I made the Pender skin which was originally released individually, and William used this as the basis for the others. When I made Pender I used a folder entiled simply "Pender"; it was William's idea to introduce the system of IoMn_G. But as some already had files that did not fit into this sytem it could have confused the consists I had already made for these engines so I decided it was easier just to leave them be. I understand where you are coming from but now that the models have been released it would be twice as problematicto relase a patch! So TBH, I think we'll just have to live with it.
