Ok, I should have the new ones up by the end of the weekend.Frsimplex1993 wrote:I'll delete PEVERIL now.
I have been working the eng files with quite a bit of success, for example they now hold the correct 500 (rather than 5000) gallons of water and less coal than they did, and require a smaller fire, rather than one that would make a Duchess blow!, plus they now blow off at the correct 160 rather than 140, but I'm tweaking the physics a bit more yet though.
William would you like my new eng file for your Ailsa green models?
It may be worth looking on German/other continental MSTS web sites for something similar as its a German design, you may be lucky!can any one build the desiel no 17 viking

Not too sure, but its a Schoema made product of 1958 and has an 0-4-0 wheel arrangement. Try searching for Schoema on the continental sites, see what it comes up with
I remmeber travelling behind this once when 'Cale' broke a spring, dreaful machine it was and struggled like hell to get up Port Soderick Bank, barely above 10mph all the way up- I was glad when we got to Ballasalla and trusty old Hutchinson took over with a speedy run to make up time!

If you could PM me with your email dress I'll send you them tonight, along with the right shape files for 5/6.Frsimplex1993 wrote:Yes please David W. Do you know my e-mail address?

I'm happy with the eng file now, it'll do 45mph flat out with 4 coaches and it'll slog away nicely up gradients as well, and holds steam well, though don't put too much fire in- you'll choke it! Not tried it on Auto fireman yet, but its spot on manually! I've also put a better head out view as if you're sat on the water tanks leaning out of the cab high up, which is the position most drivers seem to favour these days on the IOM locos.
4,5,6,10,11,12,13 are now ready to roll!

GH Wood in Brunswick Green as she was in the 1990s, I'll also apply the treatment to Kissack, as she was seen in the 80s, ah the memories! How about doing some coaches in the dark brown and cream to match?
