Hi,

I have just done a short run to Rhyderhonenn and I ended up with 300 Gallons in the tank at the station.

Is this right?

It depends which engine you used, I used Douglas (my favourite).

Heya folks,

Thought id have bash at this myself and see what I ended up with, this was with No.2 Dolgoch and 6 coaches. Drove most of the way on 65% reverser and 25% regulator, maximum was 88% regulator starting out and full reverser.

left Wharf with 350 Gallons of Water, and half a boiler full.
by Pendre id filled the boiler and was down to 266 gallons
by Rhydyronen id used another 100 gallons of water (down to 169 gallons) and had 3/4 of a glass left.
Brynglas came about and I had 125 gallons of water, and 0.69 of a boiler full.
Having thrashed the engine all the way to Dolgoch, I arrived with 63 gallons in the tank, and 0.69 in the boiler.

At dolgoch I put 500 gallons of water into the tank, filled the boiler, refilled the tank, and left for Nant, arriving with over 300 gallons of water still and plenty of water in the boiler. Plenty to get back on. :)

Yup,

That was from Brynglas stream, in fact methinks a lot of the passengers helped out.
