Various TR members have been discussing the liveries for the loco's over the last few months. The range of views is quite wide. [/quote]

TR Members have been discussing loco liveries from 1951 onwards. Interestingly the current argument over TR Green is that its nothing like the original 1864 livery, nor the 1950 pre preservation livery.
There never was a TR Green per say, as it changed every time the engines were repainted. Hence, the argument for keeping say NO.7's fancy lining in that its just the next step along on a variation on TR Green.
There will always be a Thomas engine, that will never be 1 or 2, nor 7, the first two are too old and the third is too young! That leave 3,4,or 6 in TTTE livey at some point, (al have carried it).
1 I imagine will always retain its dark green, as I imagine 7 will, although many people want to see her in black! No.2 seems to suit traction engine green, and its pretty popular with the crews. No.2 needs a repaint, and certain TR factions want to see her in maroon as 'Pretoria.' Something im personally in favour of. Thats why No.8 went maroon, to test out the colour scheme and lining ideas!
Personal preferences:
No.1 in 'TR' Green; its somewhat historical and looks nice
No.2 in Maroon as Pretoria, makes a change and would look a bit different
No.3 in its current Corris Maroon as a historic Corris livery
No.4 in TR Green... it looks stunning!
No.6 id like to see in RAF Prussian Blue, a ficticious livery but would look nice. After all 6 has run in Cam colours before, why not Air Force Blue!!!
No.7 in black lined with white and yellow! Complete with the current lining corners and painted con rods.
Thats my view anyways!!!

Problem is, nobody knows if Pretoria was Maroon or not.
I must admit, it would look good in red though.
7 in lined black!
I'd hate to see that released in some sort of 'Corris Railway Multipack' with a Blood and Custard Liveried Talyllyn Coach as well.
I must admit, it would look good in red though.
7 in lined black!
