Minffordd Yard, where I had Sooooooo much fun last March with the Megabash, we found some original bridge head rail, still in situ, (which Tammy promptly shifted by accident) and mived over a ton of rail chairs :o

Not Gala News:
The LT was driven to Boston Lodge today.
The Salvage Squad and NRM Turtles have arrived and another is going to arrive 2 days before the event.
We started Mary Ann up today in preperation for the not Gala and the Silencer we have made is amazingly quiet.
Jordy acsent "Enjoy Turtleffest!"
The Merddin will be running on one power bogie as the other is so far from been able to be steamed, currently the loco's in the paint shop.

Thanks for that Will, any idea how LT got to Boston Lodge, I heard rumours that Double engines and the curves out of Minffordd Yard don't mix very well - did they just go for it and take it exceedingly carefully?

5 days to go - okay I'm a bit excited

I don't think the words mary ann and quiet have ever been said before in the same sentance, does it still sound like someones been shot when it backfires though.

Ok then, this is a picture of me instructing Driver Bell on the finer points of driving a double fairlie.

(This is an old photo, though, so I may have changed a bit.)

Bruce:
The Blast Pipe on the LT, which is why the Doble engines won't go up Minfordd Yard had been removed.

Anyone want to know what I look like should either check the SpoonersTS website, or have a browse at UKTrainSimLive.

Thats me, at the end of last year, writing off a nice new set of cover sheets a freind of ours had done for his steam roller. Apologies for the dirst and grime, methinks that was the weekend we stripped the firebars and cleaned the firebox out from the inside!
