Dougal - at last

Post by jefran »

Following from the intial efforts last year, my first attempt is now available for download. The model is of Dougal as running up until last year - in red with sloping extended tanks.
As the prototype is 2'-6", the model is for X-tracks ng - to run on the W&LLR for instance. I have also made the loco as built in Glasgow Corporation Livery and with smaller tanks etc. The Barclay design was built in 2'-6" and 2'-0" variants and I have produced two 2'-0" gauge models - Granton gasworks no9 and Jack - if anyone is interested, and once I have made sure that this one is satisfactory.

This is my first attempt so some feedback would be welcome.

The cabview is based on Terry Thornton's Wren and I gratefully acknowledge his permission to use it.

It appears that I am somewhat late in making this announcement as 79 people have downloaded the file already

Please do. I was just thinking we could do with some more WLLR rolling stock and as if by magic, Dougal appeared. You must have read my mind :D

Would you mind if i altered the coupling type from automatic to chain so i can use it to shunt round the existing stock in an activity i'm working on?

Dan,

Feel entirely free - though I did think that I had fitted chain couplings, maybe the short term memory is worse than I thought
