Well...all of them ideally! But I'm a Fairbourne and Barmouth Railway supporters assocition member so there can only be one choice. I might do it myself in the distant future if no-one else does. Anything 15" gauge would be good though!

I'm alredy working (rather slowly) on the Llanbaris Lake Railway, but it is a very long term project so don't expect it any time soon!
Out of the others, It'd have to be the R,H & DR a nice 15" line to run along

Lynton and Barnstaple in its heyday woild be attractive, but mainly because of the scenery. This goes to for other favourites like the Manifold Valley line; there is not a lot of scope for activities beyond driving fronm one end to the other.

Hi

Start with the basics - go to streetmap or something to get lons/lats of the track (might not be completely accurate, but it will be near enough). Then you can get some track down. You can worry about everything else after that: There's little point in a route with no track after all :)

It just has to be the Isle of Man- and some Manx peacocks and coaches to go with it. Unbeatable narrow gauge railway in the UK in my opinion.

From the PM's ive had I think he means the sounds for the IoM. Honestly not thought about the project much, but with Tim Booth now working out how to make dynamic track in any gauge (more or less) It looks like i could use 3ft dynamic.

First job is WHR however, and then once thats done ill look at the manx stuff. Looking through the albums Ive got about 3000 of my own photos to work from, plus the collections of 3 other people (going back to the 1960's on slides). Added to that virtually every IoM Rly video ever made, and I think at last count about 20 books.Should be enough research to be going on with.

I imagine ill begin it sometime after Easter when the WHR part for me starts to draw to a close. As for things like sounds/ era and such like ive not thought too much about it. Any ideas?
